There are people who seem to feel calling the fight with cancer a "Fight."  They seem to think it's harmful and maybe it should be softer. As a person who is in the fight, I would love the words to be stronger.  I would love for "Cancer Survivor" to end and it be "Cancer Warrior...

I will be hosting a Mammogram Party at the Imaging Center of Idaho Saturday morning November 8th from 9am-11am.   Mammograms are critical for early cancer detection and this is a fun, relaxing way to get it taken care of.  Plus we laugh, give each other support and share stories...

I go to MISTI every weekday to get radiation therapy on a tumor.  Everyday I'm there I see people so sick they can't even stand, either from cancer of from the Chemo they are taking that kills everything, including the human body. It hurts to see their pain, it hurts not being able to share my thoughts...

I'm no saint when it comes to food, I love to eat, I enjoy food and what you eat can help you fight cancer.  Take last night for instance,  I had a garden salad with tomato, avocado and cashews with a tablespoon of Lighthouse Blue Cheese dressing...

One I was told I had cancer, I decided to fight it every way I could that wouldn't involve making by body sick with poison.  I know I'm not a doctor but it doesn't make much sense to kill a whole yard to get rid of a few weeds.  The healthier you yard the fewer weeds you have, shouldn't that sort of theory work for humans...

I'm in the battle for my life, at least according to the doctors.  Funny they tell me I'm in this huge battle, but they can't find any cancer cell except the ones in a tumor in my back.  This really baffles them and I mean makes them bat S### crazy...

It's been an interesting week waiting for the results from my CAT Scan and from the Mayo Clinic on my tumor. I realized today that I am stressed thinking about it. I have to go through radiation and the doctors want me to do Chemo, even though there is no evidence of cancer anywhere else in my body...

CAT Scan machine, you have to fit in that little hole. Once you're diagnosed with cancer everything becomes very serious, which goes against pretty much everything I am.  While Dr. Sawyer was having the mandatory consultation, he looked and me and said, "I know what you're going to say, but you really should consider seeing a medical oncologist about chemo...
