If you head to Flying M Coffeehouse this weekend, you'll have the chance to bid on some great pieces by local artists and help charity at the same time.  There are just a few days left to pick out what you want stake a claim.

The Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau highlights this Valentine for AIDS event and says over 250 local artists have created and donated pieces for the annual silent art auction that's going on now, and it benefits SNAM --Safety Net for AIDS Program.  That's an emergency fund for people living in Idaho who are HIV positive.

If you want to bid on the art pieces, you can pop into Flying M today or sometime this weekend and grab some coffee and bid between 9 am to 9 pm today or tomorrow, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday.  The bidding ends at 4 pm Sunday Feb. 18.

It was back in 1994, that Flying M Coffeehouse started this Valentine art benefit show and it's become an annual tradition that Flying M says has raised almost half a million dollars to help those living with HIV and AIDS.  Wow!

Flying M Coffee has the Nampa location too  at 1314 2nd Street South, but the art pieces are only up for bid at the Boise location.
