Jedi. Sith. Wookies. Lend me your ears.  I come to tell you how to prove that you're the biggest Star Wars fan in both the Treasure Valley and a galaxy far, far away!

Chances are if you think you deserve that lofty title, you've already marked Saturday, September 22 on your calendar.  That's the day where our very own Boise Philharmonic will perform Star Wars: A New Hope live in concert with guest conductor, Ron Spigelman.

If you've never had a chance to see the Boise Philharmonic play a concert like this, you're missing out! They strip all of the music out of the soundtrack to the original movie, leaving just the dialogue in the film playing on a giant 40 foot screen in the concert hall.  All of the music you hear as the movie plays will be performed in real time by the orchestra.  It's a really cool thing to see come together! There are two performances of the movie soundtrack: 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $45-$90 and can be purchased HERE.

...or if you're a little tight on cash after buying the kids Back to School clothes and supplies, you can win them by proving your Star Wars is as deep as a Jedi master's wisdom.

Spacebar Arcade is teaming up with the Phil and Woodland Empire for a special Star Wars trivia night on Sunday, September 9 at 7 p.m. The winning team will win tickets to see the live Star Wars performance at The Morrison Center!

We hear that some of the biggest Star Wars nerds might be on their way back from Salt Lake FanX, so your chances at winning may have just gotten better! Good luck and may the force be with you.
