Local artisans have been hard at work getting unique jewelry, clothing, and beauty products ready for the holiday season, and they'll be selling that and more at a holiday bazaar in Boise this weekend.  Other holiday bazaars are happening in early December, if you need a break from the mall.

The Indie Holiday Bazaar is set for Saturday, November 25th in Boise at Sunset Avenue and North 24th.  (2514 N. 24th).  Indigo Moons says on its Facebook page that local artisans will have jewelry, blown glass, soaps, clothing, beauty products, and more.  It runs from 11am to 5pm.

The Idaho Statesman has some ideas about bazaars happening the weekend of December 1st and 2nd too.  There are lots!

Church Mouse Creations by Nancy Pew.  Part of the proceeds from this one will benefit Vineyard Boise Food Pantry.  They'll have pillows, scarves, ornaments, and even slipcovers for furniture.  Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 1st, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2nd at 523 Michael Street in Boise.

ESA North Elementary Bazaar happens in Mountain Home December 2nd.  They'll have over 60 vendors and lots of food like pie, sloppy joes, hot dogs, and sloppy dogs, plus the arts and crafts of course.  All of the proceeds go to help needy families, and hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The address is 290 E. 12th North in Mountain Home.

Hip Holiday Market comes to Nampa on December 2nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Flying M Coffeegarage.  More than 20 vendors are planning to get together to show off the hip creations at 1314 2nd St. South in Nampa. They'll have hand-crafted bracelets, candles, and other products that went through a juried selection process to keep it all super unique.  There's more on Facebook.

The school choir will perform at the Holiday Bazaar at Centennial Elementary on December 2nd.  Local artists and small businesses are planning to be there from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the address is 522 Mason Lane, Nampa.

For something completely different, you can get a little Scandinavian with King of Glory Lutheran Church at their bazaar December 2nd. The Sons of Norway 20th Annual Christmas Bazaar will have a Norwegian bake sale, rosemaling, jewelry, and more. Oh, and coffee with Norwegian waffles!  Cinnamon rolls too, and pea soup for lunch.  It runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3430 N. Maple Grove Road in Boise.

If you get a little tired of buying the same ole things each year, these bazaars might be just the thing to jazz up the gift-giving, and help local artisans at the same time.  And you don't even have to wait delivery guy to drop it off on your doorstep.  Instant gratification.
