The first Bronco game of the season is coming up Saturday at Albertsons Stadium, and there are still thousands of tickets left.  And for the first time in four years, it's a day game!

If it's felt like all of the Boise State home games lately have been night games, it's true.  The Broncos haven't had a home day game since the 2013 season, and they've got one this Saturday at 1:45 p.m. against Troy.  And there are still lots of tickets available.

KTVB says at last check this Saturday's game wasn't sold out, and there were between 9,000 and 10,000 tickets left.

If just seeing the Broncos in person and grabbing some good stadium food isn't enough, the game itself should be really good!  Both teams won 10 games last year and both have high expectations this year.

Lots of fans begged for a day game after all of those 8:15pm starts, and they gave us one.  The Athletic Department has sold about 26,000 tickets so far, and a few more thousand would show that we like the daylight idea and want it to stay.

They'll debut the new "blue collar" uniforms on Saturday too.  All season, whether the Broncos are wearing all blue, all orange, or all white, the collars will be blue.  Cool!  I mean, hot.  It'll be sunny and 97 on Saturday, so don't forget the sunscreen.
