Dust off those skates!

Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls. It finally hit me this morning that the fictional TV town is exactly what I think of when I step into the newly remodeled Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell.  If you were a fan of the series, you know that Stars Hollow went over the top for every single holiday and just gave off this warm, fuzzy feeling that made even outsiders feel like they were truly home.  Indian Creek Plaza has that same charm and they're getting ready to take things to the next level ahead of their Winter Wonderland Festival.

Indian Creek Plaza will debut their brand new ice ribbon on Thursday, November 15 at 4 p.m. It’s unlike any outdoor ice skating rink that the Treasure Valley as soon as cooler whether arrives. Rather than just being an oval rink where skaters glide around in circles, the Indian Creek "ice ribbon" lets skaters wind their way around the Plaza before reaching a more traditional rink. It's the first in Idaho and only the seventh ice ribbon in the entire country!

As long as Mother Nature cooperates, the rink will be open daily through mid-February. It's available for parties and will host a series of awesome theme nights like Skate with Santa, National Ugly Sweater Day and Skate and a Movie Night throughout the 2018-2019 season!

Don't have skates? No worry! Indian Creek just received a shipment of brand new skates for the Treasure Valley to rent.
