Mom’s Cybershaming Too Much??

When I was a kid, bullying meant getting picked on at recess, but now with the advent of social media cyber bullying has become a tremendous problem for kids and parents alike. How do you discipline a child who cyber bullies?? One mom gave her kid a taste of her own medicine...but, did she go too far?? Let me know what you think.

After discovering that her daughter was being an online bully, she thought it'd teach her a lesson by cyber shaming her. The note her daughter is holding says the following:

"My name is Hailey. I am a kind, caring, smart girl, but I make poor choices with social media. As a punishment, I am selling my iPod and will be donating the money to the charity Beat Bullying, in hopes of changing my behavior as well as bringing awareness to Bullying. Because bullying is wrong."

Did her mom go too far, or will this teach her child a lesson? What would you do?
