When one of my co-workers said that EDM artist Avicii had died at the age of 28, I was in disbelief.

I think that's mainly because my friend and I had just gone to a workout featuring his biggest hits earlier that week. Cyclebar, an indoor cycling studio at the Village at Meridian, hosts a Mash-Up Monday class every week at 5:45 p.m.  Last Monday's class was Avicii vs Steve Aoki and it may have been the one of the best workout soundtracks ever. To hear that one of those artists was no longer with us was just absolutely dumb founding.

And it hit the staff at Cyclebar pretty hard as well.  That's why this studio owner JP Green and Cyclestar Caitlin are teaming up to lead a special Avicii tribute ride on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m.  The 45 minute ride will showcase the late artist's biggest hits like "Levels," "Wake Me Up," and "Hey Brother." According to CNN, officials have ruled out criminal suspicion in the DJ's death but have not released a cause of death.  Born Tim Bergling, the 28-year-old retired from touring a few years ago due to his on going battle with acute pancreatitis.
