Over the weekend, our family headed up to McCall to check out the Winter Carnival. We were able to check out some of the top sculptures from some of the Pacific Northwest's most talented artists and it was a truly remarkable experience.

One of the aspects I've always loved about the Winter Carnival is how you can go up to take pictures with the sculptures, and in some cases, even take pictures inside the sculptures. It truly is an awesome experience, but unfortunately someone may have ruined it for the rest of us.

For families heading to Winter Carnival this upcoming weekend, they won't be able to see the sculpture that took the top spot. According to KTVB, the winning sculpture was found destroyed, with pieces of ice scattered outside Ruby's Kitchen.

The sculpture was of an eight-dog sled team. It took John Schulz multiple blocks of ice and days to complete. However, he does plan to fix the damage in the next few days.
