This weekend, my kiddo and I got the raft back out of the shed and headed down to Ann Morrison Park.  We parked, loaded the raft into the shuttle bus, and off we went.

It was so good to be back on the water.  Last year was our first year floating the Boise River, and it has become something that both my son and I love to do.

It's about 2 hours and 15 minutes when we do it.  We bring snacks, we talk, we relax, and we get to spend some time without electronics and distractions.  We love the "waterfalls" where you get a little wet, and we've really both ended up loving these excursions.

If you haven't floated the Boise River, it's really something special.  You can rent a raft, tube, or other gear.  You can bring your own stuff too, and I promise, once you do it, you're going to want to go again.
