Downtown Boise will be a zoo this weekend, but in the best way possible!

July 13-15 will be the busiest weekend of the summer yet in Downtown Boise.  On top of the two farmer's markets that happen ever Saturday, three huge events are coming to Boise. Wizard World Comic Con brings William Shatner, Ron Perlman and other starts to the Boise Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Next door, UFC Fight Night 133: Dos Santos vs Ivanov is at Century Link on Saturday night.

Saturday brings the return of one of Boise's favorite summer traditions, the 32nd Annual ASWB Twilight Criterium Bike Race.  Featured on the USA Cycling race calendar, this race draws some of the best pro cyclists from all over the country to Downtown Boise for a high-speed, high-stakes race in front of the Idaho Capitol building.

BUT, before all that, your little ones get to take the course with Boise's 3-time Olympic gold medalist, Kristin Armstrong! On Saturday, she'll take the kids on a loop ride from the Capitol, over to 6th down to 9th and back to the start line.  Before the race, she'll be signing autographs for the kids on a limited edition Twilight Kids' Ride poster.

The event is FREE to participate in and registration starts at noon on Saturday.  (You can also pre-register here.)  The kids race starts promptly at 1 p.m.  Helmets are required for all participants.
