Jersey Mike’s to Donate 100% of Proceeds to Make a Wish Idaho

A lot of us are transplants to the Treasure Valley, which means we have friends and family all over the country.  How often do you brag about how big of hearts Idahoans have to those people?

In Wallet Hub's study of the most generous states in the country, Idaho's always outperformed most states in the nation.  At LITE-FM, we're lucky enough to see that generosity first hand through your donations to our annual Christmas Wish program.  Because of your generosity we were able to help create a family memories for a father diagnosed with terminal cancer, help brighten the holiday for a family whose main breadwinner suffered a massive heart attack on the job right after Thanksgiving and provide some tablets for a single mom who's about to be deployed so she can keep in contact with her son while serving our country.

Today's another shining example of the Treasure Valley's generosity.  Jersey Mike's Subs opened in the Treasure Valley last year and just missed being part of the chain's "Day of Giving" initiative where every store in the country gives 100% of the proceeds from a certain day to charities in their communities.  This year is a completely different story!

With locations on Broadway and State Street in Boise, the Treasure Valley Jersey Mike's stores are excited to be part of the 2018 "Day of Giving" happening TODAY! They've chosen to help make dreams come true for kids facing life-threatening illnesses in the Gem State by picking Make a Wish Idaho as their local charity.
