While everyone is in the summer mode with 100° temperatures every day, don't forget Halloween is just around the corner.

The horror doesn't start in October. It starts this weekend.

The Idaho Horror Film Festival is coming to Boise, and they're certainly not slouching when it comes to choosing the proper horror film to showcase. The IHFF is scheduled for October 12th thru October 14th, but the scares are here now.

This Friday (July 21st), IHFF is hosting a pajama party screening of the original A Nightmare On Elm Street. It'll take place Friday night at Payette Brewing, with a $10 cover that includes your first beer. 21+ obviously.

The scares continue on August 26th, for IHFF's annual Jaws pool float. You can watch the movie from the water at the Boise Racquet and Swim Club for only $15, and this show is all ages.

You can get more info about tickets and entry and all things Boise horror here.
