I Have To Recommend Some Family Fun For Christmas: Ice Skating At The Village

It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas on LITE-FM, and look a lot like Christmas all over the Treasure Valley.  One of the coolest things?  Ice skating at the Village at Meridian. 

My kiddo and I decided today was the day to go check out the Ice Rink in the center of the Village.  It did not disappoint.  We rented our skates and laced up, hit the ice, and circled around for a little over an hour Sunday night.

We had a blast.  The Village is decorated beautifully, the fountain is choreographed to some of your favorite Christmas favorites, and the tree stands tall and looks amazing.  It was a great place to feel the spirit of Christmas, and even for cool accomplishment for him.

Though this was only his second or third time ice skating, he decided to step away from the wall and told me he was "ready to let go."  He was, he rocked it, and we had a great time.  We grabbed dinner at one of the Village restaurants, and it was a perfect night with Christmas Family Fun.
