The National Low Income Housing Coalition has taken a look the minimum amount of money you have to make to afford rent in all states across the nation.

Compared to many (and especially some of our neighboring states), Idaho is quite affordable, but one troubling highlight of the report is troubling.  In no area in the country do people making only minimum wage afford the typical two-bedroom apartment.

The so-called "housing wage," the amount someone would need to make to allow only 30% of their income to go to housing, was almost never achieved with current standards.
