Have You Fired Up The Furnace Yet?

I have to admit, I almost switched the thermostat to "heat" today at my house.  Have you made the move yet? 

Maybe it's silly, but it seems like a challenge of strength and tests my fortitude to try to make it further into the month before firing up the heat.

When do you typically "flip the switch?"
