Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge and the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute AmeriCorps program are hosting a FREE FISHING DAY AT LAKE LOWELL!

WHEN: Saturday, June 10 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: Gotts Point at Lake Lowell (the west end of Greenhurst Road)

*Fishing poles and tackle will be provided*

You and your family can fish for FREE (no license required) at this awesome event, PLUS, you and your kiddos can learn about fish biology, fishing ethics, casting, pole rigging and water safety, Kids can also make some fish-related crafts AND if you bring a t-shirt you can learn how to decorate with Gyotaku, the Japanese art of “fish printing.”

THAT'S NOT ALL! Your little will also have a chance to win one free child's fishing pole per family (while supplies last)!
