In Fred Savage's new show "The Grinder", he plays a small-town lawyer.

The show is set in Boise, and Fred (being the professional actor he is) came to Boise to research the role!

Savage divulges to Conan O'Brien that his role feels "Distinctly Boise" because he took the time to come to the Treasure Valley and seriously research what life in Boise is like.

Yes there was a potato joke, and yes there was a stripper joke, but all in all Fred really seems to have a affinity for our fair city.

You can catch "The Grinder" Tuesdays on Fox.
