Escaped Inmate Caught in Caldwell

Canyon County had another escapee from their jail tent facility but yet again, the escapee has been recaptured.

The 27 year-old, Brandon James Luna was arrested at a house just across the street from the jail.  He only had a couple of hours of freedom hiding there.

Luna was in jail with drug charges, driving without privileges, carrying a concealed weapon, having no insurance--but most interestingly, on animal cruelty charges. It seems ironic that it was a police dog that found him hiding in a crawl space across the street.  The dog bit Luna several times.
