Most students are around 14 years old when they enter high school, so when you hear they're being escorted to the bathroom by teachers and other faculty members it's sounds ludicrous.

I saw the tease for this story during Scream Queens on Fox 9 on Tuesday night and had to stick around a few minutes longer to find out why the students at Canyon Springs High School in Caldwell aren't allowed to use the restroom without being escorted to one by an adult.

According to Fox 9, a bathroom in the school was vandalized with graffiti at the beginning of the school year.  Whoever was behind the vandalism also broke a pipe in the bathroom. The district superintendent tells Fox 9 that students will be supervised by faculty during trips to the bathroom until they've learned to respect the building facilities, each other and their teachers. Accommodations are in place for students with medical conditions.
