Traffic has been backed up for hours on I-84 through the Boise area because of an accident around milepost 64 that took place at approximately 9:30 this morning.  At this time we've been told that there have been no fatalities but there were injuries.  No word yet as to the extent of those injuries.

KTVB reports that it was just one vehicle involved which rolled over around the Blacks Creek Interchange.  I-84 eastbound was completely shut down from about 9:30 to 10:30.  At that point, Idaho State Police opened up one lane which was on the left.  Bit by bit traffic was allowed through but this traffic jam is still present and ISP is asking people to stay away from this area for the next couple of hours.

An air ambulance was dispatched but we have no idea how many people were injured and as we said earlier, to what extent.  We'll keep you posted as more details come in.
