"It's Sugar" in The Village at Meridian is getting a new neighbor and it's delicious!

When I was a kid, my favorite days ever were the days where my mom and Grandma Bistrica took me shopping at our local mall. I'll never forget my strong hate for Ruby Tuesday's ONLY because I thought Broccoli Cheddar Soup was gross (I was a kid and well...broccoli!) the fact that the our JC Penney's had a restaurant in it, buying Beanie Babies and getting to enjoy the sweet smells of a Cinnabon while we scarfed one down. My childhood memories of cinnamon rolls with my mom and Grandma are why I'm so excited to find out that Cinnaholic is opening at The Village at Meridian!

In fact, their grand opening is today, March 24th! The bakery is famous for their dairy and egg free cinnamon rolls and lets customers customize their flavors and toppings! Angie and Brian, the Meridian franchisees, invited my fiance and I out to their preview night last night and it's safe to say that you'll probably see me stuffing my face with Cinnaholic rolls every day during Live for 175!

Not sure what the Cinnaholic experience is like? When you arrive, walk up to the counter to select your frosting flavor like Cake Batter, Chai, Cream Cheese, Marshmallow and Peanut Butter.  Having a hard time narrowing down which one you think you'd like best? Just ask one of the team members for a frosting sample and they'll be happy to let you try as many as you like! Next choose a topping like apples, brownie bites, chocolate chips, cookie dough, Oreos, pretzels and more! The team will assemble your fresh, warm creation for you to pick up at the other end of the counter.

I chose peanut butter and their homemade cookie dough to pile on mine and it was love at first bite! If the choices seem overwhelming, they have some suggested combinations in their display case! My fiance went with the S'mores one he saw on display! They also offer smaller baby buns, cinnacakes, fudge brownies and chocolate chip cookies! (Check out some of what's available in my photos from the preview night below!)

If you check them during their grand opening weekend, you may see a familiar face pop out from the kitchen.  Shannon Radke, one of the creators of Cinnaholic and the woman who made the company's pitch on Shark Tank, has been hanging out at the new location to help them get ready to serve the Treasure Valley!
