For the first time in six years, the Boise State football team will play a home game during the month of October in the afternoon. The Broncos’ match-up against San Diego State, Oct. 6 (Saturday), will kick at 1:30 p.m. on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. The network designation will be determined following this weekend’s slate of games. The last home game to kick in the afternoon during the month of October came against UNLV, Oct. 20, 2012. That start time was also 1:30 p.m., and the game was nationally televised by NBC Sports Network. The Broncos, currently ranked 25th nationally in the Amway Coaches Poll, will open the Mountain West portion of their schedule this weekend, traveling to Laramie, Wyo., against Wyoming. Boise State boasts a record of 109-7 (.939) at home since 2000, the highest winning percentage in the country during that time.
