I know, I know it's confusing.  Highway 95 was shut down yesterday because of a wildfire just northwest of Midvale but roads were reopened this morning and authorities were optimistic about the fire not being an imminent threat but that's all changed and the highway has been shut down again for a 12-mile stretch now from Mann Creek to Midvale.

KTVB reports that the Washington County Sheriff's Office has issued a mandatory evacuation order for Deer Creek.  If you live anywhere around this area, pack up your things and leave immediately.  Other areas of evacuation are the Mann Creek corridor west of Highway 95, including campgrounds at Mann Creek Reservoir.

The fire was originally caused by lightning and has burned through grass, trees, weeds, and the wind has fueled the fire causing it to burn through private property areas as well.
