$10,000 Weight Loss Challenge
It's a New Year and 107.9 LITE FM has partnered with St. Luke's and FitOne to inspire you to celebrate life and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
The St. Luke’s $10,000 Weight Loss Challenge is a program of St. Luke’s managed in partnership with FitOne. Their goal is to help you achieve a healthy weight and active lifestyle.
All participants who complete the Challenge will receive a half-price entry to the FitOne 5K in September, along with a summer training program.
What’s the Challenge all about?
Whether you have 10 pounds or 100 pounds to lose, everyone is a winner in the St. Luke’s $10,000 Weight Loss Challenge! This year-round program is designed to help you achieve a healthy weight and active lifestyle. It provides a 2-week “jump-start” plan with meals, recipes and shopping lists to begin your journey to a healthy weight, weekly e-tips focused on meal planning, activity and emotional health, exercise and nutrition classes, information via Facebook and the Weight Loss Challenge blog, and the opportunity to connect with others like you who are working to improve their health!
Why should you participate?
To be your best self! Even a modest amount of weight loss can lead to better health, increased energy, easy and pain-free movement, and enhanced well-being. Sure the cash and prizes are enticing (and a fun way to stay motivated), but improved health is the biggest win!
If you are interested in joining the Challenge, it runs January 11 – June 5, 2014, but the information, health tips and support continue the entire year.
